‘I love Java’

The atmosphere at Qualogy Suriname is fantastic, according to Yusuf Nazir. “We have people here from many different disciplines. Together we form an extremely varied source of knowledge and know-how. For example, I have spent some time studying Medicine before I turned to technology. In the end I found programming much more fun. Before I joined Qualogy I worked at a small company. Hardware, software, building websites, programming in C++… there I learned a lot about the IT world.”

Sponge 

What does Yusuf appreciate in working at Qualogy? “The company philosophy, in particular mutual respect and trust. It is a professional organization striving for quality. Consultants continuously take further trainings. Which is good, because I’m just like a sponge when it comes to courses and new technology. I always see a challenge when I look at something new. My motto is ‘Never give up, there is always a silver lining on the horizon’. By the way, the Bootcamp was great as well, especially the Java training. I love Java. I prefer to work for customers using Java applications.”

Progress 

To Yusuf, Qualogy Suriname is a dream come true. “It really is the job I waited for all those years. A company where I can truly dig into programming, and which also pushes its employees to keep developing and improving themselves.  Suriname needs Qualogy badly, and at Qualogy Suriname we work hard the achieve progress here.”

Is there any time left for something else besides programming? “Oh yes, programming is one of my hobbies, but I also like music and gaming. And I play indoor football twice a week.”
